Letter from Xijun (Drolma)

To many friends of mine and the clients of the clinic,

Here’s my little self-introduction.

When I was young, I felt natural to take care of people when they are in Vulnerability. As a teenager, I met some doctors in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and they inspired my dream of being a therapist.

8 years ago, I was admitted to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine to study over-all Medicine (both Western medicine and TCM). I was taught all kinds of techniques of acupuncture and massage in the university cause they were my major field. Yet I haven’t felt satisfied with what I learned until I met Five Element Acupuncture.

I learned Five Element Acupuncture since 2019. Attending classes and doing practices provided me its depth, then being treated by this method myself told me its impact on healing of body and mind .

I started treating clients with Five Element Acupuncture through out last 3 years. I met people from different stages of life, between youth and seniors, and Five Element Acupuncture helped them relieve the symptoms and gain energy back.

I’ve been having experiences in treating Common Colds,

Post- Covid Symptoms , joint issues such as ‘frozen shoulder’, knee arthritis , insomnia, perimenopause, stomach acid reflux and heart palpitations.

And I will keep on providing people in Halifax, Nova Scotia with acupuncture, massage and Chinese herbs to treat symptoms and promote body and mind healing.

Moved to Halifax 2 years ago, I immersed myself in the creativity and inclusiveness of the local culture. Getting to know a few health professionals, scholars and spiritual teachers in the west, I’m thrilled that there are pioneers working to bring resilience and healing to more and more people.

Like a drop merged into the ocean, I hope my TCM work in this little Clinic can bring joy and wellness to whoever come to me.
